Today we are starting my science unit on matter! We are trying to mix matter into everything we are doing throughout the day...so this morning I will do a read aloud about matter and then we are starting the full blown lessons this afternoon!
For my big portfolio we have to write four formal lesson plans, even though the entire unit is about two weeks long. I have two of the lesson plans done so far and am hoping to get one more done tonight or tomorrow!

I glued this to a piece of big construction paper and then folded it in half so the students will be able to create their own little book with all of the information throughout my unit!
